Playing the Game of Life℠, the After School solution in Miami Beach

Today, 1 out of 3 children and teens in the U.S. are overweight *

Children as young as 8 years old are experiencing physical and emotional health consequences often associated with stress **

As many as half of all children have experienced bullying at some time during their school years, and at least 10 percent are bullied on a regular basis***

More than 5 percent of children ages 4–17 were reported by a parent to have serious difficulties with emotions, concentration, behavior, or being able to get along with other people. ****

The GOOD news is that these problems are able to be prevented and reversed. How? At our after school wellness center located in Miami Beach, we work by combining different disciplines such as Positive Communication and Life Skills℠, yoga for children and families, dance and ballet for children, guitar for children, keyboard for children, piano for children, drumming for children, and art for children, and a reading program for children. We also offer speech therapy services, in English and Spanish.

Our approach brings social, emotional, physical, well-being, academic and benefits to the children. Our after school program IS THE SOLUTION to the obesity, stress, bullying, difficulties with emotions, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and behavior problems that affect the children in today’s society. We are special needs oriented and work with children with learning disabilities, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Down’s Syndrome.

Playing the Game of Life℠ is the path to raise a healthy, happy and balanced child.

Yoga, Vocals, Guitar, Art, Reading and Speech Therapy are some of the programs and classes that are happening at the PGL℠ Wellness Center in Miami Beach, FL.
